The following classes will be held for winery management at U.C. Davis on the dates provided below:
“‘Crushing the Competition: Marketing for the Wine Industry’ with Professor Prasad Naik of the management school. 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., March 8.
‘The Wine Industry: A Global Perspective’ with Robert Smiley, professor of the management school and a wine economist. This session includes a discussion of recent developments regarding prices and the popularity of different varietals. 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., March 10.
‘Vineyard Challenges: Winemaking From the Ground Up’ with Professor Andrew Walker and James Wolpert, cooperative extension specialist and chair of the viticulture and enology department. 9:45 a.m. to noon, March 10. ”
