Notes: A Crisp Vibrant wine with a somewhat hidden nose. Hints of Pineapple, Passion Fruit and Almonds are revealed on the palate with just a mild sweet flavor that finishes in a dry lingering aftertaste. A wonderful summer wine, with a refreshing demeanor.

For my second Wine Blogging Wednesday I messed up again. How? I forgot to buy and try a bottle this week. Fortunately, I had an off dry wine recently from this Sonoma Winery; Mayo. (It was nice this bottle announced that it was Off Dry for me). We were so impressed with the refreshing nature of this wine, that we picked up a bottle and almost immediately opened it with friends. This wine was consistent and displayed excellent flavor. I hadn’t had an Off Dry wine before this, and I was thoroughly impressed. This bottle opened my eyes to this style of wine, and would be a great alternative to the increasingly pricey Viognier on the market.
