This is it. The month of wine, as declared by the Governator. As the harvest season ramps up, wineries and winemakers are busy, and the valley is buzzing with activity. In fact, in my own back yard, Tenuta Vineyards (pictured at left) is putting out the call for anyone in the area to lend a hand, in exchange for some free barrel samples.
September is the month to reflect on wine, how it is made, why we love it, and on those we enjoy it with.
