Haut Brion offers new lower level label
The wines, named Clarendelle, will retail for around $25 - $30 USD, are being produced by Clarence Dillon Wines, the company behind Chateau Haut Brion. The marketing behind the project is calling them “premium Bordeaux wines,” offered as an alternative to varietal new world wines. The line up includes a red; made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, a white; made with Semillon and Sauvignon (blanc), and a sweet wine; a mix of Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle called Amberwine.
