Winemaker of the Year: Dan Duckhorn
The Chronicle has done a great job with their wine section in the last few years. This week they honor Dan Duckhorn and the team at the Duckhorn Wine Co.
With two wines among our 10 favorites and two others on our Top 100, the Duckhorn Wine Co., founded by Dan and Margaret Duckhorn in St. Helena in 1976, is The Chronicle’s Winemaker of the Year for 2005.
Duckhorn is one of my favorites in Napa. Their reds are outstanding and set the bar for wineries of this size to reach on many levels. Read the article for an in depth look at this great winery.
