A Glass is Worth a Thousand Words
Peets Coffee and Tea, the Bay Area’s best coffee chain, has a new slogan for the holiday season: “A Cup is Worth a Thousand Words”. I personally feel that statement has more truth when applied to a glass of wine however. Yes people like to chat in the morning over a cup of coffee, but in reality, it could be argued that conversations around a glass of wine are more meaningful. In the relaxed state that wine sets people in, bonds of friendship are built, heartfelt expressions are made, and meaningful interest is taken in the concerns of others. Caffeine, on the other hand, does a great job of exciting the senses encouraging lively discussion and arousing the business mind set. I enjoy both, but appreciate one more. It doesn’t get much better than enjoying a great bottle of wine with those you love.
