One is that if I recommend a screwcapped wine to someone, I don't have to worry about it being corked and the consumer thinking it was a bad recommendation. The sad thing is that many people are reticent to give or receive screwcapped wines, thinking they are inferior. In fact, the opposite is true. The recipient has the highest guarantee of a good bottle when it is sealed with a screwcap! (in my opinion). I like screwcaps for a few reasons.
