Wine Expression Anonymous Comments Down

by jatemack on February 8, 2006

Due to some nasty comments I started receiving on my post about the 2003 Whispering Dov (which have been deleted), I’ve had to turn off comments for a little while. Blogger doesn’t allow me to see the IP addresses of each anonymous post, and I had the overwhelming suspicion that I was being spammed by the same person / persons by analyzing the tone and writing style of the comments. So for now, the only way to comment is if you have a blogger account. I’m sorry about this, and will be moving platforms soon so I can have more control of things like this.

It’s sad that people with personal vendatta’s would waste their time spamming my humble blog over something so trivial as a wine review. So I didn’t like the wine, so what? If you didn’t like my review you don’t have to listen to it!

Anyway to my regular readers, stay tuned. Thanks for your understanding.

I have a sneaking suspicion that you have been tracking the location of these folks with Site Meter. Lets go to their place and throw eggs!

Mike,

Thanks for your support. Until I discretely turn on comments again, you’re the voice of my other readers, so keep it coming. :o )

As far as the egg throwing goes, I’d love to. But then again, we’d be putting ourselves at the trolls level, which I know we aren’t.

Although, Costco sells those 36 packs of Extra Larges……

Mr. Mackenzie

Have you thought about doing a piece on the new CRACKCORE cracker
products. I think that it would go mainstream if they had the proper advertising campain and marketing push.

Devo,

The Crackcore and Saucecore product line is sure to be a hit. At this point, it’s just a matter of time before Nabisco picks up on them and grabs Sasquatch as their main marketing identity. I can’t wait for the Sasquatch loves Crackcore’s commercials, their sure to tantilize.
