[...] Early this afternoon, I was pleased to see an email about a new wine video podcast come into my Gmail. But it was not from someone new to the wine blogging (or podcasting) scene, but from Jathan over at Winexpression. He has just released the first episode of his show and I have to say that it is one of the best video podcasts on wine I have yet seen. Check it out. [...]

Thanks Tim!
Mr Deven Dallman:
I would love to do your event, however, after the success of this show, my fees have gone up 10,000%. Are you O.K. with that?

Hi Jathan,
Best wishes for this new project. This premier episode is very good and shows lot of qualities: good content and real direction skills.
I have appreciated the conversational rythm, even if it is not always easy for a non english native speaker to follow everything ;)…
Champagne! (or sparkling wine?) ;p

[...] I got a ton of feedback from everyone via email about the first show, and just wanted to send a warm thank you for your encouragement, congratulations, and constructive criticism. It was also brought to my attention that some were having problems viewing the file, so I have embedded the Google video version onto the page. I have also made a few more edits, modified sound for clarity, and added some scenes I had previously cut. Most of the changes start about halfway through, with the Karl Wente interview. [...]

[...] Boy I’m glad I published my show first, as Jason Priestly and friend have set out to do the exact same show as me: travel the world’s greatest wine regions while conversing with local vintners and wine lovers in hopes educating consumers. Hollywood and Vines, (could they have come up with a cheesier name? I like 9021Wine way better), premiers tonight in Canada, with distribution in the U.S. and overseas to come. The weekly half-hour documentary series follows Priestley and Mulligan as they trek through some of the globe’s finest wine countries - Mexico, the Napa Valley, Washington state and B.C.’s Okanagan region among them - as well as chat up celebrities about their favourite vino. Among them are Heath Ledger, Sienna Miller, Jack Black and George Clooney. [...]

[...] Will slap my silly and call me selma. I never thought I’d see the day when Livermore would get any recognition, but I must say, I’m not surprised that Steven Mirassou is the one to receive it. His comments in the article mirror his comments made on the Winexpression Pilot Video. [...]
